Are you a licensed and insured company? 

Yes, fully. Our company is a legitimate moving company regulated by the Department of Consumer Affairs, The United States Department of Transportation, and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. You will notice our PUC Cal-T Number and USDOT number on our advertisements and communications, which allows you to verify our licensing status and operating authority at any time.

Are you able to pad-wrap all items top to bottom? 

Absolutely. Our primary focus is on giving people the move they are after. Our team is fully equipped and capable to deliver an outstanding moving service when compared both locally and industry-wide. We use only the best tools and tricks commercially available.

We offer a Premium Service – waive the wand and the move gets done, and an Express Moving Service for people who would like us to cut corners with an emphasis on saving time and money on their move. We recommend letting us do what we know how to do best which is wrap every item, but since charges are based solely on time taken on the move, at the end of the day it is your dollar’s vote on how we perform the service for you.

Do you disassemble and reassembly furniture? 

We have all the necessary tools to disassemble and reassemble your furniture to take it out and prevent damage. There is zero extra charge for assembly and disassembly. Charges are based around time, so performing this type of service typically just adds a little time to the move. 

Do you provide Loading and Unload only help? 

Yes! We love helping people get loaded up professionally. We also have trucks including semi-trucks of our own to do full-service moves. We love giving people the care and consideration they deserve. Either way, we help get you moved!

How can I save big on my move? 

Our team would love to see you save money on your move! We have done a lot of moving and you are more than welcome to piggyback off our experience and use our tools and tricks to get better prepared. That means lower stress for you on move day, and if we can get your move done faster, you are getting a better move done cheaper at the end of the day!

How does billing work?  

We collect a reservation fee of $150 at the time of booking. Then, prior to the move, the minimum charge. This lets us dedicate a crew of professional movers and resources such as trucks to your move. At the end of the move, we may collect an estimated remaining balance, if any. Lastly, we have a dedicated and professional team go through and reconcile a move, to the penny, which makes sure charges are fair, accurate, and compliant with state laws and the estimate given. This can generate either an invoice or refund, depending on the move circumstances and if all charges were collected for correctly on move day. We love giving refunds! 

How does damage coverage work?  

Moving Companies industry-wide are required to provide you with basic coverage of items, at $0.60/pound. That means you would receive around $60.00 for a 100-pound couch. Our company wants to deliver a better service than what is the industry standard, and we will work with you to make things right, should any damages happen. We have an incredible sub 1% damage rate. For contrast, the industry standard is around 21% as of 2023. We also offer actual cash value and full replacement value options, as well. Please note these must be selected before we start a move for you. If you would like to inquire about coverages, you will need to declare a total value for the items we are to going to be moving, and then we will present you with available coverages options.

I received a price-range on my estimate. What does this mean? 

Traditionally, local moves where you are being moved out of one place and into the next on the same day, are given a min-max ‘range’ quote. Final charges will fall somewhere between the min and max, depending on the number of movers and the time taken. Charges are calculated by actual hours worked (15-minute increments). Meaning, if you get better prepared chances are we can beat or come close to the minimum charge, in most cases. We would love to walk into an easy and well prepared move, and save you money!

If TME stores things for me, will I be able to access them while in storage? 

Unfortunately, no. When TME stores items, they are not accessible to you. However, there is greater implied accountability that goes along with TME being in possession of your items from the moment they leave your old home, to the time that they are right where you want them in the new place. We wouldn’t be able to offer the same accountability if people had access to shuffle and remove items from our storage. If you are using us to store items long-term, we always recommend getting two quotes from us, so you have a reasonable cost expectation of the entire service – Move into storage, storage monthly fees, and the move back out of storage.
